‘Plein Air Washington Artists’ is a group of people who love the adventure of painting outdoors. We are dedicated to the fine art of painting on location in natural light to document the diverse and breathtaking scenery of our beautiful state.
This year, in honor of the centennial of Washington State Parks, all of our paint-outs will be at State Parks around the state. In October an exhibition of these paintings will be on display at the American Art Company gallery in Tacoma. We’re very excited to paint and promote the dynamic landscapes that surround us. Check our events page for updates throughout the year, including paint-out and show details. Whether you paint, draw or simply admire, you’re invited to join us as we celebrate the beauty of Washington State.
Our members include artists of all levels of experience who benefit from sharing ideas, techniques, and enthusiasm; while enjoying the friendship and fellowship of people with our shared passion.
